We recently carried out a trial clean for Futamura Group, a large Japanese chemical company operating just outside of Carlisle. A first for us at Sonic Solutions, we were asked to clean a “Spiral Heat Exchanger”. The customer asked us to remove sulphur deposits deep within the HX. Alpha Laval gave the go-ahead for us to use a multistage cleaning process consisting of pyrolysis burn-off in our gas oven followed by 2 rounds of ultrasonic cleaning. The results were fantastic! We have recently come to the rescue of Denso Marston and cleaned close to 3000 aluminium parts when they were shipped over from China and had mould contamination.  The job was quite urgent and we geared up very quickly to accept 40 pallets of aluminium tanks and do 1 week’s worth of round-the-clock cleaning work.  Denso Marston said that we saved them thousands in scrap with our quick turnaround and great cleaning results. For 3 weeks Sonic Solutions has hosted Dave Pask, a representative of Action Laser, a global supplier of metal laser screens based out of Australia. We are very happy to announce that our customer base has now expanded internationally.  We now have new regular cleaning services from Vietnam, Denmark and Sweden for our Erema Laser Disk cleaning service which just goes to show we have really hit the spot with this cleaning method.   We are also celebrating our 2000th Erema Laser Disk clean as well so again we’re confident our experience with cleaning this particular part for the plastics recycling sector can’t be matched.  Who knows, if we keep this up we might become the worldwide go-to cleaning company for this part soon, n ..read more

Our Pyrolysis Burn-Off oven has now been in action for 12 months and it has been a huge success.
