Soup for the Soul returns to Spring Creek on April 5th. The Malcolm’s Soup for the Soul initiative was started by Frank Kernick (Spring Creek Owner and Developer) and Andrew Shepard (Stirling Grill and Lounge Manager) in the early days of the pandemic when hotels were faced with closures. Instead of laying off staff and wasting food, the Malcolm team started making different flavours of soup and bread to serve for free to the community each day, with the option of providing a donation to the Bow Valley Food Bank.
