This was in part thanks to graduate guard Celeste Taylor, who was named a Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Finalist Tuesday. Graduate guard Jacy Sheldon was named to the Associated Press All-American Second Team Wednesday after leading Ohio State to a 25-5 record and a regular season conference title. In addition, sophomore forward Cotie McMahon was named an honorable mention by the committee. Marvin Harrison Jr.'s time at Ohio State is over.  According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, Harrison has opted out from working drills during the Buckeyes' Pro Day on Wednesday. NFL teams had been informed that Harrison, a two-time All-American and reigning Biletnikoff Award winner, would not be participating in the events. The news was expected after Harrison declined to participate at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this month in Indianapolis.
