Former Clemson defensive back Sheridan Jones will get an opportunity to showcase his talent to the Buffalo Bills.  According to reports from NFL analyst Aaron Wilson, Jones has been invited to attend the Bills rookie minicamp. There have been no reports of an undrafted free agent deal for the young defensive back, but an opportunity at a minicamp for a team like the Bills is huge. Clemson players and others who didn’t hear their names called in the 2024 NFL draft are getting some excellent opportunities in the undrafted free-agent market.  One of these players is former Clemson safety Jalyn Phillips, who has agreed to a UDFA deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. Defensive tackle Tyler Davis has become the sixth former Clemson player to be selected by an NFL franchise in the 2024 NFL Draft. Davis was selected in the sixth round (196th overall) by the Los Angels Rams. He joined running back Will Shipley (Philadelphia), defensive end Xavier Thomas (Arizona) and linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (Philadelphia) among Clemson players that were selected on Day 3 of the draft. Will Shipley is heading north to Philadelphia after being drafted in the fourth round of the NFL draft. The move to Philly won’t be a hard one to adjust to for Shipley. He’s made frequent visits to the Keystone State to watch his brother play lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania and has grown to love the state. Jeremiah Trotter Jr.’s long NFL draft wait has come to an end. The Eagles selected him in the 5th round with the No. 155 overall pick. It came much later than many expected, but Trotter is home in Philly where his father became an NFL legend. A multi-time All-American linebacker for the Tigers, Trotter had a fantastic three seasons with the program. Former Clemson running back Will Shipley is headed to the Philadelphia Eagles.  Shipley was selected with the 127th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by Philadelphia on Saturday.
