2021 Denali 4WD, 32k miles. It seems okay (at least around the block) if I keep it under 20mph. As soon as I accelerate, I get the warning and it dies. It does start every time but the dealer is too far away and too much traffic to chance driving, so I had it towed. Internet searches alluded to a bad ECU. I was able to find some details here that allowed me to add a custom PID to the Torque Pro app, and see the entire regen. The PID was Soot %. The value is 0-100 percent. I am running an OBDLink MX+ with Torque Pro for reference. Once I got it set up, i was seeing about 85% Soot a couple days ago. Well I noticed it yesterday on my driveway.. got under the truck and it look like it was the filter, but couldn't really tell. Took it into the dealer today and they said "oil pan gasket" likely.. from my research, it's likely the front seal as well.. I'm right at 42K miles, so I should be covered under the powertrain warranty I hope. They didn't keep it, said bring it back Tuesday of next week and they'll get started. Good morning all, just a little info for all you 3.0L I6 Diesel Engine folks to think about. I have a 2020 GMC LTZ Sierra with the 3.0L I6 diesel engine, 108000 miles, when I purchased the truck it has 82000. The check engine lite came on the other day and I checked for codes, P0016, when your powertrain control module detects that your crankshaft and camshaft are out of time.
