Why won't my fuel system stay pressurized from the fuel filter head and the motor. The fuel filter head was replaced with a brand new factory head. I suggested they replace the hoses from the head to the motor or fuel rail or wherever the hoses go. Any suggestions? Please Help ..read more

So I just put a Bully Dog GT into my '03 2500HD and talk about a BLAST! Performance and extreme mode—holy hell. A neighbor mechanic told me I should go with a larger intercooler. The truck came with a Banks cold-air intake system and has 4" exhaust already. I'm in love with my locomotive again!!! Any recommendations as to what to do next? Been having an issue for last 3,000 miles. My 02 LB7 just went over 300,000 miles. Scanned with a high end scanner and my fuel rail is +/- 6,000 psi. New AC glow plugs and relay. Runs great and strong but hard starting when cold. No codes except MAF censor which I just changed but know many issues will show MAF code. When it will not start, I can give it a very light whiff of starting fluid and it will start and run. When my engine does start without a spray, it seems to slowly fire up... Ok so I have a 03 6.6 about 6 months ago got the notorious white smoke then I started getting performance issues around the same time truck will spit sputter don’t wanna build rail pressure so I replaced with a good set of running injectors until spring since I do plow with it last minute and I installed a lift pump smokes gone idles fine still had trouble building rail pressure doesn’t wanna get out of its own way won’t pull hardly anything so I replaced cp3 with a good rebuilt one my buddy... Any recommendations for a mechanic in the Harmoy PA. North of Pittsburgh area After 21 years and 19 of them mine my Turbo let loose I believe the back side oil seals failed oil lost and dripping out exhaust pipe and where the down pipe meets exhaust on passenger side.
