Few weeks ago, lovely gentleman Terence came to the studio for shooting some portraits. He mentioned that he hasn’t had a professional headshot for more than 30 years! Gemma, is one of the most talented hairstylist I have met. She entered  Wella TrendVision 2020, one of the most coveted salon professional awards platforms globally, to compete with hundreds of entries. She has worked in the hairdressing industry for over 18 years, gaining experience in a variety of settings and roles. In 2017 and 2018 Gemma entered a hair-styling competition the ‘PlayOffs’. My younger sister Navideh, lives in Oxford, England. She visited us in Brisbane last year and stayed over Christmas holiday. I managed to take different photos of her from fine art portraiture style, contemporary to glamour portraits. Gorgeous Hana, came to the studio for a contemporary portrait session. She has an amazing taste for beauty, art and fashion. Like they say: “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, I could see this magical glaze, a beautiful pair of eyes staring at the lens of the camera in the shooting session. It was such a pleasure to see my Art work selected by Australian Camera magazine to feature on the cover for AIPP Silver Lining Awards winner announcement.
