Hummus is such a diverse dip, plus so simple and quick to make your own! It’s one of my got-to recipes for entertaining – you can whip this up just before friends come to visit or in advance beforehand. Served with crackers and veggies, it’s always a hit.  I also enjoy making up a batch as part of my healthy Sunday meal prep, to enjoy as a part of a nourishing snack or on salad bowls throughout the week. I really love the flavour, colour and dose of antioxidants that the liver-loving beetroot adds. Makes: 2 ½ cups  Ingredients 1 400g tin chickpeas, rinsed & drained 2 large (200g ..read more

Here’s why we really should be avoiding the temptation of the next diet 2023…. Trust me, as a former fad dieter – I know how tempting the New Year Diets can be. It is time to embrace a realistic and wholesome mindset when it comes to setting New Year resolutions, because let’s be honest, putting yourself on a crazy diet will only last short term. The healthy life has to have a ‘forever’ mindset. This wholesome mindset is the key to long-lasting changes that will continue throughout the year. Hello to my inspiring community, 2022 – you were certainly a biggie… but we made it! Well done on everything you have managed to achieve and complete in 2022. There is no doubt many of us found 2022 to be a heavier, more challenging year – the hangover from the pandemic was real and exhausting for so many. Perhaps you had an amazing year – and that makes me happy! I’m sure whatever 2022 was like for each of us, we can look to the les ..read more

The holiday season is the ideal time to try a new brunch spot or dinner destination, so I’m sharing my foodie favourites – Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs edition! You can include any of your favourite root vegetables alongside crispy roasted sweet potato. My Top Tips for Body Love

Your relationship with yourself is the most important one you’ll ever have. It wasn’t until I learnt to be kind to myself, and truly practised loving my body that I was able to find a healthy balance in life – for life.  From personal experience, it’s not easy to overcome years of negative self-talk or the pressures we may feel from external sources (such as magazines and social media) to look a certain way. Enough restriction and punishment, it’s time to love every part of you as you are, unconditionally, right now. Be gentle with yourself, it’s always a work in progress. Here are my top ..read more

This is honestly my go-to smoothie right now. It’s so nutritious, balanced and totally delicious. I’m loving getting a double dose of Marine Collagen and creaminess by including the JSHealth Collagen Creamer+ and using the JSHealth x Inside Out Unsweetened Almond Milk, which includes collagen and prebiotics!  Add in the fibre and antioxidants from blueberries and chia seeds, plus satiating fats from the nut butter, along with out JSHealth Protein + Probiotics and you have a super nutritious blend. Try it ASAP for breakfast, a snack or dessert (yes, it’s that good!). Jess x  Ingredien ..read more
