Kumasi Int. Airport to be operational by June By Joojo Maapa | Ghana’s Minister for Transport, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, says the “new” Kumasi International Airport will be operationalised by the end June 2024.
Mr. Asiamah, who toured the facility in the company of management and board members of the state-owned Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), says facility will be inaugurated in May, and test runs carried out for full operationalization in June, 2024.

Ethiopian Airlines now connects Ghanaian passengers to Warsaw, Poland | Ghanaian passengers can now connect flights to the Polish capital Warsaw at Ethiopian Airlines’ Addis Ababa hub four times (4x) weekly starting on June 16, 2024.
The new four times weekly passenger services to Warsaw, Poland via Athens, Greece will bring the East African airline’s European destinations to 24.
The Warsaw flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Return flight ET 765 from Warsaw to Addis Ababa via Athens will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Dubai Floods: Emirates asks for time to clear backlog of rebooked Pax and bags | The President of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, has called on passengers impacted by the flood-related disruption at Dubai International Airport to exercise patience as the airline works around the clock to clear the backlog of rebooked passengers and bags.

Dubai Airport to return to full operational capacity on Friday-COO | Dubai International Airport will return to its full operational capacity within 24 hours, Dubai Airports Chief Operating Officer Majed Al Joker told state news agency WAM on Thursday.
The hub has struggled to clear a backlog of flights in the aftermath of heavy rain that swamped the UAE on Tuesday.

Dubai Airports to temporarily divert inbound flights | Dubai International Airport will temporarily divert all inbound flights due to arrive this evening, Tuesday, 16 April, until the inclement situation improves, a spokesperson told Gulf News. Departures will continue to operate as normal.
