How much fun was The Park! The Pony Bar and Motel was smaller than we remembered from the previous Melbourne Cup carnivals, but it still offered us some great photo backdrops. With a couple of beds thrown into The Pony Bar to make it a motel, seating space was a little awkward and reduced. The beds did invite you to lie back and relax! After a few years of not being at the racecourse, it was great to be back there to showcase our beautiful millinery! We all poured our hearts into our designs over the last couple of years. If you didn’t make it into the top ten, your design received no recognition. It was a photo competition with only the top ten getting shown to the public. Wowsers! Where do I start? It’s been one hell of a Melbourne Cup Carnival! After being away from it for three years, the return to Flemington was spectacular!
