Mun Studio löytyy Espoosta, Kattilalaaksosta ja se on luonnonvaloinen, kotoinen vaalea tila, jossa mahdollisuus kuvata raskauskuvia, vauvakuvia ja mahdollisesti pienimuotoisia äitiys- ja perhekuvia. Ei tarvitse olla kesä ja kuumuus kun otetaan kuvia ulkona. Syksyinen Suomi on mulle kymmenen vuoden takaa vanha rakkaus, mutta en muistanut miten kaunista täällä onkaan ja pääsin vihdoin nauttimaan siitä väriloistosta myös kuvauksien backdroppina. Tämä vajaa puolivuotinen Suomessa on mennyt vauhdilla. Sopeutumisongelmia oli aluksi sekä lapsilla että minulla. Sitten vähän sairastelua, töiden ja koulun aloitusta, muuttoa, lisää tapaturmia ja sairastelua, mutta ehkä nyt aletaan olla voiton puolella. Australiasta kaivataan monia asioita, mutta Suomi on näyttänyt ihania puoliaan meille. Olen saanut myös kiitettävästi kuvata tällä puolen maapalloa ja olen aivan onnessani että kameran eteen on löytynyt sekä puolituttuja että aivan entuudestaan tuntemattomia. Remi I’m so honored everytime someone invites me to their home. Not only because I get to photograph their family or a new life with a newborn but also because I get to capture all the love and connection between the different family members. These sessions remind me of all the good things happening around us all the time. Ensimmäiset puolitoista kuukautta takana Suomessa. Alku on ollut vaikeampi kuin kuvittelin. Sopeutuminen Suomeen yhdeksän vuoden jälkeen on ollut kivikkoista mutta aurinko alkaa jälleen paistaa risukasaan.
