Evening, TP rigs Has anyone categorized the current and known Vetter cars? With under 1,000 TPs built how hard could this be. He said looking down a rabbit hole. I thought I would first search web for pics and paste into spreadsheet with notes on where pic is from and other info I can glean. Lots of numbers are mentioned on this forum and others. So I can plug those in as I read through. Any suggestions? Am looking at photo apps for storage, but will start with Excel. Rick #498... Read more ..read more

I am hoping to get an answer as to the ballpark value of a Terraplane. The sidecar is currently being removed from my Dad's '87 Electra Glide which I inherited after his passing and unless the shop doing the removal has a buyer it will be listed for sale SOON. But I have absolutely ZERO idea of what the value of it may be aside from the old "It's worth what someone will pay for it!". The unit is in very good condition as far as I can tell. I thank you all in advance for any help / input you... Read more ..read more

I have one but don't have enough knowledge about it to know what to I need to be asking about it. I acquired the Terraplane about 16 months ago and have not decided what I'm going to do with it....yet. It is rare enough (and cool enough) that I'm hesitant about selling it as I'll probably never be able to replace it later. General consensus is that fewer than 1000 were made. I ran across this 10 year old post from a claimed to be early 80's Vetter employee (post Craig) I saw someone post... Click to expand... Read more ..read more

Project progress. Bodywork - cut down and widened cockpit, repaired stress cracks in fender. Paint - repaint modified areas, touched up original graphics, 2K clear coat upper body. - bed liner spray exterior of lower body after repair of holes and gouges. Wiring - clearance, driving, and turn signals added and wired with relay as needed. Fuel - I decided against an internal tank for safety reasons. Also I seldom need the added range. Therefore a Jerry can mount... Read more ..read more
