Amy Thomas, ‘Paris, My Sweet: A Year in the City of Light’
For Alexa Santiago, a young teenage girl from Miami in Florida, it was her “quinceañera” dream. She wanted more than anything to capture her “quinceañera” – the day a girl turns 15 years of age – with a glamorous, A list-style photo shoot in Paris, France: “The City of Lights.”

5 reasons why choose an actual trip to Paris over a Paris quinceañera theme party
If you’re planning a Paris quinceañera theme party, read this before you start:
Cost: Parties are expensive. Consider a trip to Paris itself could cost the same or even less than a Paris theme party and you’ll be getting the real deal. Decor, food, alcohol, music, venue, dress, make up (for the quinceañera, mother, sisters, etc.), photography (in which case you probably will be getting nighttime pictures with artificial light which is not ideal), and all the time and effort put into organizing a party.

Boudoir photoshoot in Paris with the Ballerina
When my dear friend Christ Nemes from Zen Films called me to tell me he was about to create an amazing film featuring The Ballerina, Brittany Cavaco, I couldn’t hold back from my excitement.
A team of crazy souls were going to be under the same roof (my Parisian boudoir studio) for a week creating art with Paris as a canvas, ready to let all the ideas flow. I was in for the adventure!
The brilliant make-up artist Onorina Jomir joined the project and voilà, an amazing boudoir photoshoot took place at the same time the film was being produced.

Being a Paris family photographer means turning obstacles into opportunites
It was raining in Paris and Holly was worried about the family photo shoot we had planed that morning.
She had contacted me few months before to document her family in the city of lights. It was a very special family trip to Paris and they wanted to mix their Paris family shoot with some senior photos of her son and some pictures of her beautiful ballerina daughter.
