The final full day of Soccer Camp is now behind us and we praise the Lord for an excellent week filled with many opportunities to minister to the campers! The last full day began with a breakfast of bacon and eggs, quiet time, and the morning chapel service. The worship music sung during the service was Prince of Peace, Here I Am to Worship, No Longer Slaves, How Deep the Father's Love, You Are So Good to Me, and Awesome God. You'd think that by Thursday at a week-long camp, there would be a slowdown in the activities and energy, but that is not the case at Soccer Camp! Thursday marked the beginning of the international matches and our annual singalong. But before the big events, the campers started their day off like always with a prayer, pledge of allegiance, and breakfast. The menu for today was sausage, egg, and cheese on English muffins.    Wednesday has come and gone at Soccer Camp, and we are now more than halfway through our week! Wednesday's schedule was similar to the last couple of days, but with a few twists. All cabins reported to the flagpole for the daily flag raising, pledge of allegiance, and morning prayer before a breakfast of sausage and pancakes. The campers woke up on Tuesday to a day filled with exciting activities and a lot of soccer! Tuesday was favorite local team day. Everyone was encouraged to wear shirts or jerseys of a local team they play on or enjoy watching. Following Monday's schedule with a few twists, the campers started their morning with a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, and hash browns, followed by some peaceful moments during quiet time. Monday marked the campers' first full day at camp!  The theme of the day was favorite club day, with everyone being encouraged to wear their favorite club jerseys. The campers started their day off with the traditional Soccer Camp flag raising before breakfast. The campers then went inside for breakfast where they had sausage and french toast. At morning chapel, the campers' sung How Great Thou Art and Good God Almighty. Their morning worship was streamed live on Camp Iroquoina's Facebook and Instagram accounts. The first day of Soccer Camp 2023 was a success! Nearly 120 kids checked in during the afternoon to spend a week learning about the Lord, playing soccer, and having fun at this beautiful camp in Hallstead, PA! After check-in wrapped up, the campers were treated to a delicious roast beef dinner. Their meal was followed by their first action on the soccer field. The final event of the day was evening chapel. Campers woke up Tuesday morning to a beautiful day with lots of fun activities planned ahead of them. The campers followed the same schedule from Monday with a few twists. They enjoyed a nice breakfast and had some quiet time before heading into the chapel at 9:15am. The morning worship was once again live streamed on Facebook and Instagram live. Soccer Camp 2022 kicked off on Sunday! The campers filed in throughout the afternoon where they signed in and settled into their cabins. Although it wasn't a full day, the campers still were able to get some activities in. Campers interested in swimming this week had a chance to take a swimming test for access to the deep end of the pond. The final full day at camp has come and gone, and we are so happy with how the Lord worked on Friday and the week as a whole! Following a breakfast of cereal and muffins, the campers had their quiet time and the morning chapel service. During the service, the music team led the campers in singing Lion and the Lamb, Worthy of Praise, How Great Thou Art, and Lord, I Need You.
