Another of my passions outside of interior design is food. I can’t wait to go back to Bologna (my hometown) to visit FICO Eataly World, an Italian-food-themed park covering 1 million square feet. I am posting some photos that my sister has just sent me.
Here is the link to their website and to a recent New York Times article.

Here is another of my interior design projects. This was a complete renovation of a dated master bathroom in a North Toronto house.
The new bathroom design features floor to ceiling back painted glass panels to cover the entire wall perimeter, a curbless shower and a Murano glass chandelier placed above the freestanding bath tub.
The glossy lacquer vanity with glass countertop and integrated sinks are from Scavolini – Toronto.
I love the monochromatic design and the reflection of the elements in the glossy surfaces.

I’m building a new house in Toronto. I’ve been working in the interior design field for more than 15 years but this is the first time I’m doing my own project. So, I decided to document the entire experience on my blog – taking an interior design perspective to explore the many challenging decisions that arise when building a house. I’ll be updating the blog and adding new posts every week (and sometimes daily), so please check back regularly.
Update:
My previous blog posts focused on the backstory, the t-minus period, the demolition/excavation, and building the foundation. This post st ..read more

We just added a new project – Toronto Cabbagetown Home Renovation – to our profiled projects. It’s a beautiful Victorian era home that maintains the home’s character on the outside while emphasizing a contemporary open-space design inside.
The project was featured in a Toronto Star article and is part of the Cabbagetown Tour of Homes. The tour runs this Sunday, so if you’re interested in touring the home in person, tickets are available from the Cabbagetown Preservation Association.

One of my projects has been profiled in the Toronto Star as part of the Cabbagetown Tour of Homes. This is a beautiful home that was part of the Wellesley Cottages built in the late 1800s. As an historic home, the exterior maintains its original look, but the interior was transformed to achieve a contemporary open space.
I will be adding photos of this project to my website soon, but for I encourage you to check out the Toronto Star article here. And if you will be in the Cabbagetown area of Toronto next Sunday (September 17th), you should consider touring the house in ..read more
