Hello,
I am very new to Access and have only created a couple lists. I setup one database with the department birthdays. Field1 are the dates; Field2 are the teams that each agent is assigned to; Field3 are the agent names. Is it possible to integrate the list with Outlook so that I have reminders on my calendar for the birthdays without having to reference the database every morning?
And then if any new IDs are added to the database, are those able to automatically be added to the...

Hi, I found the following solution to do a quasi countif in Access =count(Iif([fieldname]="A",1)). However, instead of defining "A" as what to count I would like it to use the value that's in that record's fieldname. So in Excel parlance "=countif(A:A,A1)". Is this possible? Is it also possible to have multiple criteria for this ..read more

I built a query in access that is pulling data from several linked tables. The Tables are all located on a shared drive. The database itself is on a network drive but other users can't run the query because the path specifically references the user name of c:\users\k~~h\M.... Isn't there a way to put an * or something where the specific user name exists in the path so that any user can run the query that is on the same network and shared drive ..read more

I am very new to working with Access Database and may not understand all of the lingo used.
What I am trying to do is manage a company's wireless account(s) and each of the device's usage on that account. I am currently having trouble creating a QRY that gives me all of the Unit Numbers that has 0 usage over three consecutive months.
I created a select QRY that has the following Fields: Unit Number, Bill Date, Service Name, and Data Used. That QRY will give me all the units, say between...

I currently export a query to an Excel File and then process it further with VBA.
I am not sure why, but for some reason Excel does not like the format of the file.
I am attempting to export as a XLSX file but can't seem to find any help on the internet that is specific enough to help me.
I currently make the Export in an Access Macro in an MDB Access DB.
I have now converted it to ACCDB and attempted to use the ExportWithFormat in the Macro without success.
So I went further to see...

a picture of todays results. the 24 stands for the year it was...
