Thank you Fish eye Graphix for an awesome job, at a super fair price, in the blink of a “fisheye” Broke in the new #yamahaf300s, dialed in the electronics and caught a few fish. Fun and productive couple days with Fred this week. Plenty of bottom fish for dinner, a few mahi on fly and let a swordfish go to catch another day. Highlight of the trip was when the second sword popped up 20 feet behind the boat and Fred was ready with his fly rod. Unfortunately we didn’t get bit but still very exciting. Great morning half for Tate today catching his first Atlantic sailfish ever and then five more. Throw a couple little tunny in the mix and a mahi for dinner, and back at the dock by lunch, ready for tomorrow. Does it get any better? It’s been a busy and incredible summer. So many Sails, snapper, kings, cobia,some mahi, blackfin and the occasional wahoo. I feel so fortunate to live in a place like this with such amazing fishing year round. We’re in the middle of repowering and rewiring the 31 but should be up and running like new again in a couple weeks. They have also started building our 39 Contender with gap tower, sea keeper and plenty of seating. Starting in January both boats will be available for charter. Call me to get in on the action. Now that the ocean has calmed, we’ve been able to sneak out and get some Stuart Florida offshore charters in. Bait was easy to catch but the morning half went a little slow. We did not see any selfish, but we did manage to catch three nice dolphin. Possibly the banana curse? Fortunately the afternoon half went without their Potassium and we got three out of five sales and saw two others that didn’t bite. We also caught a couple nice dolphin as the sun was setting.
