In 2015, Qweerty Gamers was made as a Facebook group for LGBTQ+ Minecraft players to connect. As time went on, the group realized the community needed more advocacy in the LGBT space. UK games industry LGBTQ representation group, Out Making Games, has publicly called on Rockstar Games to take the opportunity to remove the blatant transphobia in GTA V as they prepare to release the ‘expanded & enhanced’ iteration of the hit game.
