Hello, is it possible to install a swivel plate for driver seat or the handbrake will impede to swivel the seat?
May be it’s possible to lower the handbrake?
Last consideration/question .. based on a L2 length / available space / interior possible layout, does it have any sense to have a driver swivel seat?
Many many thanks ..read more

If you look under the newer vans they have underseal on the larger flat surfaces. The box sections have a rubberised material sprayed inside and the structural beams appear to be treated with a rust prohibitive paint finish. Some of the non structural and bolted on parts appear to show surface rust after a few years as they are lightly painted. I concluded that this approach means that there is little hidden metal work where rust can propagate behind thick underseal, while the critical structural elements are well protected but could also be easily identified if they start to corrode and more ..read more

Hi
I have recently bought a FTCCV 2.0TDCi 290 Limited Chassis Double Cab 6 door Diesel Automatic L1 H1 (165 g/km 168 bhp) – 2017 and 24,000 miles on the clock for £26k
I am really happy with it so far although i needed the diesel heater re routed, the electrics ripped out as the previous owner did not have the best set up plus I wanted solar.
My question as I am new to this game, is about the weight. Have read a few comments about potential issues and wanted to know peoples thoughts on what are my limits for a vehicle of this type and with a full conversion and pop up top do I need to be wary ..read more

The key fob for our 2010 transit is not working which means the only way to unlock our side panel door is to use the key in the drivers side door. This seems like a major fire hazard at night when we want to be in the van with all the doors locked as to get out, I have to hop over the top of the bench seat and get out of the van.
Can anyone offer some advice on how to get around this?
It’s my first time posting in this forum as a 2-month old van owner! Thanks in advance ..read more

Hey forum, just wondering if anyone has done or has any advice on what I am looking to do.
I would like to take the two front seats in my MK7 transit jumbo, remove them and replace them with two front seats that are road legal and can be folded back into a bed.
I have looked at rock n roll beds but struggling a bit tbh to get something that will fit the area.
I surely cannot be the first person who has wanted to do this? Any ideas or guidance much appreciated.
Cheers ..read more
