Hello, Hope someone can help with what on the face of it seems a simple issue but I can't get past it. My MK7 standard 2.2 SWB Transit van does the common horn honk when I lock it. I changed the rear door lock and loom (it's a single up and over door model. I noticed that it doesn't put a light on to show the side door is open, so I changed the side door lock and actuator, plus I fitted brand new door contact pins and plate, still no luck. Hey guys, So I have a recurring problem with my transit mk6 rwd.... My belt has fallen off 3 times in the last 8 months and has shredded 4 times.... I've replaced the crankshaft pulley and another smaller pulley on the system (both were the cheaper versions from europarts). I've also had the tensioner pulley replaced by a garage. Hi all. Need help. I have a 2007 Ford Transit Connect 1.8 tdci L90. The engine light came on with an EGR fault. The EGR lift pin was brocken. I have taken out and cleaned. I can replace the pin with a quality aftermarket item. My question , I was thinking of blanking off the EGR anyway so do I need to have the pin in place for that to work or not. Hi, New MK8 custom owner, baught a 17 plate MK8 2.0 ecoblue transit custom as a non runner. With no history or idea what had happened to it. (Copart) I connected a new battery up as the one in the van was completely dead and wouldnt hold charge, checked error codes only one -low oil level Coolant cap was broken (stuck in) and tank was completely empty so filled it up, took about 11 litres.
