I just got back from a two-week trip to Illinois to attend a funeral. The coach was taken out of storage here is SW Florida and readied for the trip, and everything appeared to be working. I am replacing the outer part of the skylight it has 4 trim corner pieces with 3 screws each. There are no screws on either of the long sides. Would it hurt to put screws on the sides and the ends and not use the trim pieces? I left out the part where I paid a rv repair to put the new one in. Just need to confirm how the Boost solenoid works. When cranking the engine if you press the rocker switch on the dash ( my model) the Boost Solenoid closes and connects the house battery to the Start battery through the large cable that runs from it to the start solenoid by the start battery. At the end of my 1200mile trip home my trans started acting up. By this, the cruse set to 63mph I started to lose speed on a slight grade to the point I had to take the control off and manually downshift the trans according to the speed I was at that time. 30mph-3rd gear, 40-4th gear and so on to 60-6th gear. I am preparing to install a Victron Smart Shunt and in looking at the battery compartment, all I seem to see is the wiring to power the 12v side of the RV and the inverter, I did not see wiring from the charge controller to the battery. I will need to connect the solar wiring to the battery to the shunt. What am I missing? Thanks ..read more

Hello. I'm thinking of buying 2000 WINNEBAGO JOURNEY 36L. I have a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer LS. I downloaded the manual, and the manual indicates max tow capacity of 5,000 lbs.
