Things are really heating up with the One Piece anime, which is chugging through the Wano Kuni arc and heading toward its climax at a typically One Piece pace. The anime My Happy Marriage (based on the light novel series Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon by Akumi Agitogi and illustrator Tsukiho Tsukioka) will debut this July and be streamed by Netflix. Ahead of this a pretty “visual image” video was released showing Miyo and Kiyoka walking amidst cherry blossoms. It was also just announced that the show’s opening theme song is titled “Anata no Soba ni” (translated as “By Your Side”) and performed by Riria. Earlier this month Otaku USA published an article titled “Ghibli Park Has a Problem with People Groping Statues” because some people at the park had been posting pictures online that were deemed lewd. These pictures including them groping female figurines and taking up-skirt shots of statues. The pictures created a stir and some negative articles toward Ghibli Park. Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 season 2 first made its way to Netflix around the world in May 2022, and now it’s about to be collected on the big screen. As revealed on the official website, the latest installment of the 3DCG anime series based on the sci-fi action manga by Masamune Shirow will be getting a compilation film, which is set to open in Japan sometime in 2023. The first season also got a compilation film, Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War, which opened in Japan on November 12, 2021. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 was first announced back in March 2022, and now we have a premiere month to look forward to. The final episode of the BLUELOCK anime aired over the weekend, and with it came word that the adaptation of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura’s manga is set to continue with a second season. More info on the next steps for the SPY x FAMILY anime were revealed during this weekend’s AnimeJapan 2023 event, including SPY x FAMILY season 2 premiere plans. The continuation was first announced along with a movie back when the first season ended in December, and now we know to expect the continuation this October.
