“The idea of mental health seems so foreign when we lose track of time, dealing with our own cases. I do not think there is any time for mental health when we keep running around.”
This is what an advocate told me while I was having a conversation with him. It almost surprises me, how often we dismiss the idea of mental health in a profession that requires us to utilise our minds at all times. The keyword here is “almost”. Justice CD Singh graduated in the Law from Delhi University in the year 1993. He enrolled as an advocate on July 20, 1994. He practised in the Supreme Court of India as an “Advocate-on Record”.
