Guitar denter had this Jimi Hendrix model hanging on the back wall . I got it for $680 minus the $200 trade in for a slp john Peruzzi I got from trading a epi sg for that I got off fb marketplace ( and an line 6 amp ) for $100 . Sold the amp immediately for $60 and did a trade for the sg for $200 plus the slp. So $60 plus $200 plus $200 is $460 minus the initial $100 for the epi sg and amp is $360 net . Been watching one if my favorite concerts the 2005 Carnival of Sins tour. Mick is killing it with a white Strat and also a sunburst Strat. Who knows the specs of the electronics on each of those guitars? They look like Hum-Single-Hum configuration I read he had a preference for Gibson T Top pickups, but not sure if he only used them in his Les Paul, or stuckem in his Fenders ..read more

Saw this guy and though if it was on the same level as my Squier CV Jaguar then I have to get it (plus it was on sale). I set it up and I bought some angled neck shims off Amazon to add more break angle (learned this from the tubes) and that also too care of a fret issue higher up, and its killer. Last week meta stock sky rocketed and my wife works in the medical field , so she said go buy yourself a custom shop , i had about 6 in the past , they come and go ....So now a heavy relic is 5,800 to 6,500 ...and master built are 10,700 to 13,000.....Just stop the non sense ....even used are now 4,500 ....NOPE im not doing it !!!! ...I grabbed a new american pro II for a steal ....Oh and Jackson custom shop are crazy high too ....rant over ..read more

I have played Gibsons for the last 35 years - I currently have an R9, an R0 and an ES335. I absolutely love them, and I always have. My friend didn't believe me when I told him I had pretty much never played a Strat for more than a few minutes here and there, before I played his for a couple hours the other night.
