Still one of my favorite weddings to date, Akanksha and Ryan tied the knot on a warm summer’s day in their backyard, where they’d decorated with colorful flowers, hand-made paper cranes and wind chimes in the trees. I knew that they would be going all out, and when I arrived to the venue I was blown away by all the beautiful details.
You know the saying “it takes a village”? When I started hearing about all of the little and big ways that Melissa and Cory and their friends and family had contributed to bringing their vision to life, I was so ..read more

It was the closest the moon would be to earth all year, and I had this idea to do a session with a couple swimming under this big beautiful supermoon. When I went to scout my location, it became very clear that it was WAY too cold to ask my couple to 1) stick around late enough for the moon to actually rise high enough to light the water and 2) swim in freezing water at midnight. So the idea evolved into a go ..read more
