Aus Virtual Pilots (AVP) members, indeed all simmers, are invited to participate in the annual Navigraph FlightSim Community Survey. Last year, almost 25,000 contributed internationally making this the largest survey of its kind. Last year, Australia was listed as fifth at 4.3% in the contingent of respondents. The survey data provides valuable information on a range of flight sim demographics. This assists with the development of future programs and support for members. Rovaniemi Airport is the third-busiest airport in Finland. Santa Claus Village and Santa Park are situated within 2–3 kilometres. The airport is located approximately 8–9 kilometres away from Rovaniemi City centre, meaning that it is not far away from many restaurants and hotels. Thank you to all that attended the Gold Coast VFR event and look forward to many more ahead with our GA Sunday which happens you guessed it every Sunday at 3:00 pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
This event saw over 50 pilots spawn into Gold Coast Airport (YBCG) in their Cessna, Pipers, Spitfires and everything in between.

Long haul flights also known as long-range operations refers to the duration of a flight. These flights are quite often related to Australia as its geographical position puts most continents such as Europe and North America 12+ Hours away. Long haul flying in the real world carries so much responsibility by all that are involved from on-ground crew, flight dispatchers, cabin crew, pilots, engineers and many more. Impulse Simulations has released its latest project for 2022, Bendigo Airport (YBDG). The team have brought Bendigo in all its glory to Microsoft Flight Simulator as they have done so well in the past with other projects. Located only 150 kilometres northwest of Melbourne, Bendigo is one of Australia's gold towns after a large discovery of gold in Bendigo Creek.
