Could he return to the state of Tennessee?
Tennessee has a big need in the post, and one option that hit the transfer portal over the weekend might just fit the bill. Ohio State center Felix Okpara entered his name into the transfer portal on Sunday, and Knoxville makes some sense for the former Tennessee prep target.
Okpara is a former four-star prospect out of Chattanooga. He attended Hamilton Heights Christian Academy before transferring out to Link Academy in Missouri. The top 100 overall prospect in the class of 2022 chose the Buckeyes ove ..read more

Getting set for draft week.
Welcome to NFL Draft week. Top prospects from across the country will learn their fate, starting on Thursday night in Detroit. The event will span three days, wrapping up on Saturday evening.
Tennessee is expected to have a couple of players hear their name called later this week. Running back Jaylen Wright is the clear-cut top prospect for the Volunteers, coming off of a 1,000 yard season in 2023. The explosive back crushed the NFL Combine, headlining the testing with a 4.38 40 yard dash. Wright averaged 7.4 per carry last season ..read more

A career day for Christian Moore
After being down 6-2 through five frames, the Vols put up 11 runs in innings 6-8 as Christian Moore’s third home run of the day came in the eighth — a three-run shot — to help put away a pesky Kentucky team, 13-11.
The game looked bleak for Vol fans for most of the game as starter Zander Sechrist and relievers Andrew Behnke and Nate Snead gave up six runs in 4.1 innings.
Neither team scored until the third, when Tennessee took the first lead of the game with two runs from Moore’s first home run of the day ..read more

UT goes deep five times
Tennessee’s offense put up five runs in the top of the first, and Aaron Combs came in and threw 4.2 innings of no-run relief while Kentucky, which leads the SEC in fielding percentage, committed two errors in UT’s 9-4 win.
The Vols looked laser-focused from the onset, as Christian Moore and Blake Burke hit back-to-back home runs to start the game. Moore’s 16th homer went 375 feet and had a 105-MPH exit velocity.

Oh boy.
Jonas Aidoo is a hot commodity in the transfer portal right now, and another top program has reportedly reached out to the former Tennessee big man. It’s Kentucky — according to Kentucky Sports Radio.
Mark Pope has hit the ground running in Lexington, and he’s trying to potentially get some real momentum rolling by poaching a player from one of their top rivals.
NEW: Kentucky has contacted Tennessee transfer Jonas Aidoo, he tells @PolacheckKSR.
Aidoo averaged 11.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks during the 2023-24 season.

The #4 Tennessee Vols and #3 Kentucky Wildcats started off the biggest series of the weekend and one of the biggest of the college baseball season on Friday night in Lexington. Unfortunately for Tennessee, the Vols have some work to do to take the series after dropping the opener 5-3 late.
The Vols managed 3 runs on just 5 hits, with no one compiling more than one hit for the game.
However, Tennessee’s pitching kept them in the game through the sixth inning. After starter Chris Stamos was pulled after just 8 pitches, AJ Causey came in and pitche ..read more

It’s official.
Darlinstone Dubar, Tennessee’s first commitment this offseason out of the transfer portal, has officially signed with the Volunteers this morning. The former Hofstra guard quickly chose Tennessee after his official visit last weekend.
Head coach Rick Barnes hopes that the 6-foot-8 Dubar can help replace some of the production vacated by Dalton Knecht, who is set to move on to the NBA after his eligibility expired. Those are some big shoes to fill, and it likely will take multiple scorers out of the transfer portal to ge ..read more

This is a deep room.
Tennessee wasn’t up to full song at receiver for the Orange and White Game over the weekend, but that gave us a chance to see some new faces that could potentially crack the rotation this fall.
It was a vanilla scheme playing alongside of mainly reserves, but we were still able to see big flashes out of five-star freshman Mike Matthews and transfer portal prize Chris Brazzell. Add those two into the equation alongside of Bru McCoy, Squirrel White and Dont’e Thornton and you’ve got a pretty exciting group to pair with quart ..read more
