New to the forum and have been searching for an answer to my issue. 2014 ecodiesel, I have an issue where the truck will all of the sudden have a bit of a rough idle. When this happens it literally will not accelerate, like at all. You can put the pedal to the floor and nothing happens. It has happenned a few times now in the last couple days but I am getting no errore messages and no lights coming on. If i trun it off, re start it and rev it up it will go. Hello everyone, I purchased a used 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel last year. Everything been running smoothly. Took a trip to Florida and back to Louisiana. So I completed the R&R of the upper intake on my wife's '15 ecodiesel. I spent most of Sat tearing it all apart. Monday at work had to fab a tool with the T40 tip for the fuel rail bolts. Got home from work and removed the rail and intake. It was nasty! The center cylinder ports were completely clogged with dry soot clumps. I shop-vac'd the intake clean. Wiped the mating surfaces down with carb cleaner. Installed the new upper and turbo elbow. Went to lock the truck with the key fob and... upper intake job ..read more

Hi all, A little history. I had the EGR recall completed at 115,000 miles. Truck had been flawless. Then the High Pressure fuel pump recall comes out, no parts, keep driving. Finally my fuel pump shits the bed at 187,000 miles. Complete fuel system replacement on Stellantis. But while in the shop (5 weeks) code P200B pops up, intake replacement needed. Hi, I, unfortunately, bought a 2015 Ecodiesel with 130k miles. I drove it for less than 1000 miles and all of a sudden I started pillowing white smoke out the back and all the lights on the dash lit up. I clicked through the dash and the engine temp was around 200*. Ram dealer says the intake melted and sent plastic and debris into the engine causing catastrophic engine failure.
