After nearly two years, Atlanta-based New Realm Brewing Co. has opened in the Old Cigar Warehouse on South Main Street in downtown Greenville. The brewery held its soft opening on May 8, offering cocktails with house made spirits, a wide array of brews and snacks. An early favorites was the Skategoat, a West Coast style pilsner offering a hop-forward flavor and aroma reminiscent of a West Coast IPA married with the crisp and light taste a traditional pilsner. Residents along Augusta Street near East Faris Road will be getting a Chipotle Mexican Grill, along with three other locations in the Upstate.
