GCC has commissioned thyssenkrupp Polysius North America to build a 3,000-mtpd clinker production line, which can be expanded to 3,500 mtpd, at its Odessa, Texas, plant.

Terra CO2 and Eagle Materials have entered into exclusive agreements for the potential deployment of multiple eco-friendly, low-carbon cementitious commercial-scale plants that would service three different geographic areas, including the Greater Denver market.

Caribbean Cement Co. announced the appointment of Jorge Alejandro Martinez Mora as managing director, effective Dec.1. Martinez Mora succeeds Yago Castro Izaguirre, who will be moving to another position within parent company Cemex.
Martinez Mora is a civil engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in the commercial, corporate, and operational fields.
