I think I have Robin Hood to blame for my interest in thieves. Why? I’m not entirely sure. Thieving as a profession is something I very much look down upon, but literature has (unfortunately) made theft into an art. Q: How and when did you find this obscure fairy tale? I’m genuinely not sure when I first read this one. For Christmas last year I received a copy of Nordic Tales, a collection from Chronicle Publishing.
