It seems the weather here is mirroring that of most people's sentiments in the new year with a cleansing week of rain. As we enter into the first month of 2019 the earth itself is washing away the old and creating a path for the new. I am always surprised at how "the universe" in some way can know exactly what you need even if you might not know it yourself. If I am not careful I can quickly pile things onto my "to do" list. Hi everyone! I can't believe it's February and we are in 2019! Time is flying by and the things I saw as "in the future" have already rushed by and passed. When the Havenlist said they would be interested in doing a feature on the work we did on our Lake San Marcos house we were more than thrilled! The design of the ranch style lake house was one of our first projects and launched our boutique interior design studio. This project is proof that design can be found in cozy spaces. The unofficial start of Summer is right around the corner, and to say I've had a bit of cabin fever is a bit of an understatement. I'm ready for salt air and sunshine so we are headed to one of our favorite local spots the Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach. We've done a few staycations here in the past and we always have a great time!
