Has anyone tried ANC earbuds in the cockpit? How well does the noise cancelling work In the cockpit of a small plane? I believe that in general earbuds noise cancel better than headphones because they seal the ear cavity better. The audio quality may be better, also ..read more

I am a long time participant of the International Air Rally events. I can sum up my review to these events being an amazing experience every single time. Everything is well organized and thought of in order to allow different types of aircraft to fly the event. Not only to focused on leisure but culture as well which makes these trips very unique. I have had the chance to participate to at least 6 Caribbean Air Rallies and the 2009 Cross Canada Centennial Flight: An incredible journey. The... Read more ..read more

I’m posting a review for the Caribbean Air Rally which I have had the pleasure of participating a couple of times. Here are my comments: GROUP HANDLING: organizers have been doing this for about 20 years I believe. Since a variety of aircraft types are flying these trips they are assigning departure times according to speed. We have an air rally frequency in flight and fastest / IFR aircrafts report to those behind. DESTINATIONS: This is a unique concept because the air rally is being... Read more ..read more

Yes, we've heard this in the past and as far as I know it went nowhere. Here's another. Time will tell. Farewell frost! Optimized surface structure innately prevents frost without heat or special coating. Reducing frost may increase energy efficiency in appliances, reduce drag on airplanes and more. Researchers were inspired by leaves, which do not form frost on their concave veins.<br /> news.northwestern.edu ..read more
