I am no expert, but I am going to put in a word for Buen Ayre in Broadway Market (Hackney). Been there a couple of times over the years and always been impressed. Hit up the Parrilladas Deluxe with a good red and enjoy life. Nothing fancy about the place, but the steak is cracking ..read more

In Shelherds Market I can recommend Iran restaurant for good Persian food. https://www.iranrestaurant.co.uk/
There is a pub in the street next to the IC. Or head to Chinatown. I can recommend the Four Season’s Gerard St – excellent roast meats but you would be best to reserve a table ..read more

Not cheap but Hide breakfast
The Devonshire is a decent pub in Piccadilly if you want a drink.
Kwant great for cocktails as is The Donovan Bar and ofcourse the Connaught for Martini’s
Gentleman Baristas good for coffee
