OMG, I have a line of tile with Concrete Collaborative. We developed the initial concept of the Half Moon Tile a few years ago but it always felt like it was still in its infancy. I don't think enough people realized it could be done in any color combinations and move past the initial offering of black and white. - May was spent mostly focused on our foster puppies: Millie, Maddie, and then their sister Mila joined for the last few days. It was an all hands on deck situation and our goal was to set them up for success with their future families. April is a meaningful month for us because we celebrate both Ilana and Lev's birthdays as well as Passover and Easter. Spring has sprung and it feels great. - We kicked off the month glamping with friends over a few nights of Spring Break at the wonderful El Capitan campgrounds near Santa Barbara. I always like to incorporate some vintage into a scheme for a few reasons: When a room is full of new furnishings, especially after its been freshly renovated, it can feel a little cold and staged. Bringing in a few key vintage pieces adds storied character. For most of my projects, 10% feels like the right mix. Casegoods, accent tables, and rugs are a safe bet. I discovered Sandbox Ceramics through my client at the Ladera Heights Aussie Coastal. We used them to style the spaces and they were such a great fit for the aesthetic.
