The eye is a complex piece of machinery that takes in more information than we can comprehend. All of the things in our immediate surroundings are pieces of information we’re constantly processing + reconciling - that DIY attempt, that heirloom, that saved-for investment piece, the thing that doesn’t quite work, is uncomfortable or of poor quality.
All of this information subconsciously inflicts joy or dissatisfaction, unease, irritation, nostalgia… pride, comfort, ease. A worthwhile investment, indeed.

We went from zero to one hundred designing braggable kids’ spaces.
