This information in this article affects only those Adobe Connect Hosted customers who have made network or firewall exceptions to trust Adobe Connect Hosted servers by IP as authentic targets of outbound traffic. The DNS A-record names of the fully qualified domain names of the Adobe Connect Hosted servers will not change, only the IP addresses as we upgrade from IPV4 to IPV6.

In Adobe Connect version 12.4, a WebRTC Meeting recording will fail to start if the recording is started before starting the audio conference in the meeting:
Workflow:
Open an Adobe Connect Meeting where there is an audio profile integrated.
Do not Start the Audio Conference
Attempt to start Recording the Meeting without the audio started
A dialog pops up for recording information (Note the ’Start Audio Conference’ check box is not selected by default)

With Adobe Connect 12.4 comes many new features including the ability to edit Enhanced AV MP4 recordings.

In the Adobe Connect Meeting Applications after Version Win 2022.5.109.64h, a default GPU setting for WebRTC, affects offline recordings by making them opaque. The latest production version, Win 2022.10.42.64h is affected:
The issue is fixed in the next version of the Adobe Connect Meeting Application and release is pending.
The workaround for this issue is very simple. In the Adobe Connect Meeting Application, if you click Ctrl-q, you will see the default configuration settings for the Meeting Application includes a checked block beside the option to Enable GPU:

With the introduction of Adobe Connect 12.0, hosts got the option of enabling significantly improved audio and video with the new Enhanced Audio/Video option. Meeting hosts can now enable this in meetings, classrooms, and webinars, simply by checking a box.
Yet even though hosts are warned that mobile apps must be version v3.2 or higher, there is nothing currently preventing mobile users with older apps from joining these enhanced meetings – with no audio or video!

Login to Adobe connect account as an Administrator.

An added bonus with Enhanced AV in Adobe Connect v12 is meeting recordings are now recorded directly to MP4 format. Conversion is no longer required.
This has several benefits, one of which is the recording is immediately available for download and offline distribution.
In the GUI a recording’s MP4 can be obtained using the Download file option
Customers who use the xml-api to integrate Adobe Connect with their LMS system can also provide this download option.
