MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A deadline for action regarding a tent encampment on the campus of Columbia University was postponed by 48 hours on Wednesday until 12:01 a.m. Friday. SOHO, Manhattan (PIX11) --- A parolee is accused of violently choking and raping a woman after following her into her Manhattan apartment building early Sunday, police said. HELL'S KITCHEN, Manhattan (PIX11) – Police are searching for a dog walker accused of slashing a man in Hell's Kitchen on Monday, according to the NYPD. A 56-year-old man was walking on West 54th Street around 1:22 p.m. when he came across a man in his 50s, who was walking a small black dog, police said. CHELSEA, Manhattan (PIX11) --- A man accused of punching a woman in the face on a Manhattan street is the latest bust in a string of unprovoked attacks going viral on social media, police said. Daquan Armstea, 31, of the Bronx, allegedly assaulted the 23-year-old woman near 541 Sixth Ave. in Chelsea at around 10 a.m. on March 20, accoridng to the NYPD.
