Hello everyone,
I’ve got an author interview for you today. This time I was able to chat to Ioanna Papadopoulou. She is the author of Winter Harvest, a mythological retelling about the Greek goddess, Demeter.
I’m nearly finished this novel and found it very compelling and beautifully written. I also enjoyed the story being told from Demeter’s point of view.
If you like Greek mythology, this is certainly a book that should interest you. It is released on the 21st November – so only 5 days to wait.

Hi everyone,
I don’t usually blog about my own books – I save that for my newsletter these days. However, seeing as it is release week, I thought I’d make an exception!
It’s been a wonderful week. I’ve had a book launch and a blog tour. I also went to visit my publisher and attended FantasyCon – where I was nominated for Best Newcomer at the British Fantasy Awards.
I didn’t win – but honestly, it was an honour to be nominated! And I had such fun meeting all the authors and fantasy fans who attended.
The audiobook is out today!! I’m very excited about this and will be listening to this mysel ..read more

The Covenant of Steel trilogy is truly an excellent series.
I recently finished The Traitor, which was an excellent conclusion to the series, and I’m very much hoping to see more readers find the series now it is completed.
It’s always hard to review a book 3 of a series. How can you talk about it without giving spoilers to books 1 & 2? You can’t, is the answer.
The truth is people only want to know one thing. Did it get the ending right? Did the story carry you through to the end?
The answer is, yes, it did. The ending was excellent. The story was unexpected. Tense. Magical ..read more
