Trying to stay ahead of the fast growing weeds are what the volunteers are trying to do ! Plus they worked hard on trying to control Hosta Clausa. Het Gazebo is growing ! One advantage of having a rather warm and wet start to the year means this newly planted red beech hedge has a great chance taking root ! There are more sightings of hosta shoots and fresh hosta leaves ! The volunteers have raked, gathered and removed all the fallen leaves and branches ! It was dry enough to have coffee at the dedicated picnic table that's there to welcome visitors this coming tourist / vacation season :) Things will grow quickly !  ..read more
