We were fortunate to stay at the Rebak Island Resort & Marina, a peaceful sanctuary set in the native rainforest off Langkawi Island.   The resort provides complimentary speedboat rides to and from Cenang Jetty, Langkawi, 12 times daily from 6am to midnight. The Double-Tree by Hilton was a fabulous hotel to spend time with my children on Penang Island. It was an hour car ride which cost about $30 using Grab, the Asian hail ride service.
