Dragonfly Moon inspired by DH97
created by Anne Whitlock – Kriayts
Do you use rocks with dings, pivots, cracks, dints? I DO !
.
We have two choices when painting rocks – remember they are rocks and work with them not against them, they are such an interesting natural canvas to create on. We can create with flow and embrace the rock … for being a rock!
OR
You can look way to close at it and start filling in the natural dings with products that have a high chance of cracking as they cure and the there is a high chance that the product will pull away from the rock. And that is a common thing ..read more

Snuggle up Bear created by Anne Whitlock – Kriayts
inspired by Caperuza Sketch
My brown pen is near its end but I will just keep on colouring! I love that my Posca pens last such a long time, I have had this brown forever but I am going to get every last drop from it
Yes it looks quite streaky as I colour when my pens are running low but the end result is a fun rock for sure! Add some shading and highlights and it is perfect!
The good news is that my new supplies have arrived and when this colour finally cannot colour I have a brand new shiny pen waiting in the sidelines … ok I have the ..read more

Cat’s Dinner created by Anne Whitlock – Kriayts
inspired by Tracey Hey
The Kid brought home some fish last night after work from the Supermarket… she is vegetarian but wants to try fish. There is only one problem with that – I have no idea how to cook fish
So she sat on my bed last night and we were gossiping about makeup and getting our nails done for her school Formal ( we were suppose to be google-ing how to cook fish) and up jumped the cat.
She was not happy – The Kid was on her part of the bed and she started circling. Let’s just say our cat is pretty and most days she has a lo ..read more

Queen Kitty Cat created by Anne Whitlock – Kriayts
inspired by a baby T-shirt
I hear some people saying they cannot draw but I recomend you do not get to complicated! Most of us are creating Kindness rock – where we create a fabulous rock and abandon it in our community for someone to find.
Whoever finds your rock is not judging that the art is of art gallery level. They are loving that they have found and amazing little pocket hug and if they found it – destiny decided it was for them.
This wee rock is a few scribbles here and there and I KNOW the finder is going to love it! The be ..read more
