I read a thread here regarding skid plate for engine bay. Someone mentioned that he wanted to make a plate out of ABS sheet, exactly the same idea I had. I also don't want to remove the air dam. I don't need anything heavy duty but something that can stop tall weeds and branches getting into the engine bay. I just ordered a 24x48 1/8 ABS sheet and will try to figure out how to make that plate. But if someone here has already made one, any information shared will be much appreciated ..read more

I added some pinstripes to my 'pavement princess' when I took her off-road on the Soldier's Pass trail in Sedona, AZ. We went to the parking area for the Seven Sacred Pools. On the way in, I visited with the driver of one of the pink tour jeeps coming out - he was a little reluctant to tell me I'd be okay with my stock Ram. Based on his advice, I did decide against going down the turnoff to the Devils Kitchen Sinkhole. It did look a little too dicey to me as we passed it. Instead, we hiked...

Good afternoon,
Does anyone have experience with a Truetrac and traction control?
My situation, I've driven a Duramax for almost 20 years now a 2020 Ram Hemi 1500 4x4. I routinely have to pull off half off pavement to open gate to property. I had replaced a broken G80 on the Dmax with True trac, it had no traction control and worked seamlessly. Tire off pavement would spin some, power would transfer to side on pavement and away we'd go.
I assumed the traction control open/diff on...

After my last trip out been thinking about building some skid plates for the frame side LCA skids would any one else be interested in a set if I were to start making them.
Pardon the rust on the frame road slat sucks. The white outline is the rough idea for the location of the plate with the way the factory mount is stamped.
quick 3d model still need to do some refinement to it ..read more

The Pitch and Roll indicators on the Off-Road page stop displaying when speed gets above 25 mph. A message then appears indicating there is indeed a 25 mph limit.
Any way to defeat this?
