Psychometric testing and solicitors – a good idea? We regularly come across employers using psychometric testing, basic literacy tests or maths tests for their prospective candidates, who can for example be 10-30 year PQE solicitors. After all, psychometric tests can filter out poor candidates fairly quickly and decisions can be made on weaker candidates who otherwise may not have been picked up as being lacking in certain characteristics.
