Recently picked up a 2018 trd pro and took it out to the trails today. Ended up dragging over one section which wasn’t pleasant sounding. How much do frame scrapes actually matter and what can I do to prevent it ..read more

I am pretty new to off-roading and I have mainly been to Gorman (hungry valley) about 2-3 times. I am looking for somewhere new to adventure. I don't have too many friends who have off road rigs. So since I will be going alone, Something not too hard is what I prefer. Do you guys have any recommendations near LA? Can't seem to find much online ..read more

I'm new here and to building an overlanding build. I biught a 17 Tacoma to play with. I got a Falcon Pro RoofNest tent to put on it. I've narrowed it down to two different bed racks due to wanting to keep my BAK Revolver X4s roll up tonneau cover. The RCI 18in with everything needed to make it work or the VRS 22in KB Voodoo rack. Both seem to be good, but would like some really world users input. I like the look of the Voodoo, but the price of the RCI. If I go with the RCI I think I want... I am so bummed. I crossthreaded one of my new maxtrax mounting pins, and destroyed it in the process of getting the bolt off. I would hate to have to buy a whole new set of 4. Does anyone happen to have a spare single pin they would sell me? Appreciate it ..read more

I don't do a lot of heavy off roading, I go out to bald eagle state forest here in PA every couple weeks camping and normally do some trails while I'm there. Looking to get something cheaper and simple that'll get the job done. I was going to get the viair 88p but came across this craftsman air inflator. I have the 20v craftsman power tool line up so I have a bunch of batteries already. Figured it could come in handy around the house as well, and to fill up air mattress when camping. Will... New to the Tacoma family and looking for a 2-3” lift kit that doesn’t break the bank. Will probably be in the desert every once and a while but mainly on the beach / occasional small water crossing. Would love something that looks nice visually but budget is <$2.5k with install. Appreciate any recs ..read more
