The oil is coming on after fully warm on a hot day. No problem in the winter. So I figure I've got worn rod bearings and maybe mains too. My question is can the oil pan be removed without removing the engine. If so I might consider replacing just rod bearings. Thanks once again for your help ..read more

Hey all, jrod here. Just sent the thread “what have I done” complaining. lol Went to put my pinion seal in, luckily I had it up at my work in the shop and our part time mechanic was there. We jacked up the rear to rotate the drive shaft so I could get to the bolts to release the u joint. And he stopped me, said” this bitch is about to leave you stranded. Jerry, his buddy Gordon and I went to Ouray last weekend for a quick escape from the Phoenix heat. Jason was supposed to join us but broke his leg two days beforehand. David Kinsey was supposed to join us but hurt his knee two days beforehand. We kept this trip simple. Day 1 was Last Dollar Road into Telluride and Imogene Pass back to Ouray. Hello all, Jarod here. I purchased an 06 h3 with adventure package a year ago. I’ve only put 3000 miles on it but very fun and muddy miles. Within the year I have also put a steering linkage, upper control arms, front wheel bearings, front brake lines and a radiator.
