Does anyone make a kit for converting a 2001 ford ranger xlt (coil spring) to coilovers for a long travel kit? Basically a coil spring delete kit that provides the prefabbed pieces for plating the frame back in after cutting out the coil spring bulge in the frame? Hello I'm currently installing a C4 trans on a my 2004 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L SOHC. And I have ran into some problems. Couldn't get the new trans to sit perfect on the back of the engine and narrow that down to the flex plate. Read some forms and ordered one from a old mustang. Got the new flex plate and went to install and the engine has 8 bolts and the flexplates I have found are only 6. Looking any advice or anyone that has done this swap before. Anything is appreciated.
