Hi would somebody be able to clarify the rule for transiting through Frankfurt to the uk whilst carrying duty free please. Will be arriving into FRA on Singapore airlines and then connect onto Lufthansa to the UK. The duty free is pre ordered to our seats on the Singapore flight and I’m assuming it’ll be in a sealed bag with the receipt showing. Do we retrieve our luggage at FRA , put in the Duty Free and recheck the cases or do I risk checking baggage in at SIN through to the UK and carry the Duty Free with my hand luggage whilst transiting. How much time between flights should I allot for clearing immigrations, entering into Schengen territory? I am flying from London to Madrid, via FRA. Hi, one option I am considering is flying HAM-CDG-PHX in business in August. It is a 6am flight so I wonder how busy/dead the Airport is at that time of the day. Will arrive day before in the pm and get a hotel. Any recommendations? Convenience is key as I have to return a car > HAM > Hotel > HAM so any travel needs to be done twice. I am looking at booking rental cars for an upcoming trip. I am seeing more and more EVs offered. I am an EV driver in the US, so I am generally familiar and comfortable with charging my vehicle at various DC and L2 chargers, and I have NFC cards and apps for the various charging networks I am likely to come across in the US. I'll be travelling HEL -> MUC -> ORD in a few days. The flight from Helsinki lands at 14:30, and the flight to ORD departs at 15:35. It looks like the ORD flight is at the L gates, and apparently there's a bus service that replaces the normal "passenger transportation system". I'm thinking of booking an itinerary ORD-FRA-GLA in July. ORD-FRA is on UA and FRA-GLA is on LH. It's showing a 1:10 connection time in FRA. There is one other flight FRA-GLA that day, but not for almost 12 hours.
