Hi all, Has anyone had their wedding on Good Friday? And if so, did you have any issues with suppliers or guests not happy going to a wedding Easter weekend? We have two dates provisionally booked, Good Friday and Saturday April 26th 2025, and having trouble deciding between two. We are not having a religious ceremony so that isn't a consideration. Also looking for reccomendations for celebrants and photographers in the Louth area. Thanks ..read more

Hi there, My fiancé and I will be attending our MOC interview next month. I'm Irish and she is a foreign national. We have been together for many years but I still worry about what type of questions might be asked on the day. If someone has attended one of these interviews, I would greatly appreciate hearing some of the questions that you were asked. Thanks THP ..read more

We're getting married next year and it won't be big by Irish standards. We're inviting roughly 120 and expect 80-95 (a lot are coming from abroad so I don't expect them all). Is either of these venues too big for that size? I think Cloughjordan could work but Ashley Park might be too big. I'd love any insight you can share! We've a couple of other places in mind and trying to bring the list down to top 2 or 3 at the moment. Open to other recommendations also. Thanks ..read more

Hi, I have been scammed by our wedding photographer who captured out wedding in Dec 2023. He is Dun Laoghaire based and runs "competitions" to win a photography package. We picked our final photos to get edited in February and have tried to contact him numerous times through text, email, phone and social media since and we have got no response. Can anyone offer any help please. Unsure where to go from here.we are absolutely devestated - nor just the money but our special memories from that day ..read more

Hello, looking for a small wedding venue for 50-60 guests in Cork, Waterford, or possibly elsewhere in Kerry. Ideally looking for something where reception, ceremony and accommodation are either all in the one place or within easy walking distance, and either rural or in a small village / town. Would love a sea view. Casual is fine. Any ideas ..read more

Hi! That might sound crazy for some of you, but together with my wife (we both work in IT industry) we built our own wedding planning tool at the time when we were planning our own wedding 2 years ago. Since very beginning we've had in mind that it could help other couples in a way it helped us - so now, 2 years later when we finally found the time and courage to commit to the gosssal - we did some last touches and now we are publishing the platform. We called our little project (but with high aspirations) Eventioo. As for today - Eventioo is a guest list management tool (with RSVP's) with a t ..read more
