I have had an inguinal hernia for a few weeks now so I have had to lay off my weight training but I am curious if there are certain exercises that are okay to do as to not make the hernia worse. I am just trying to not lose as much muscle as possible until I can get surgery and heal so am just looking for any recommendations. How much do you think is reasonable for an online trainer? I’m pretty new to working out and not interested in a gym membership at this point. I’ve spoken with an online trainer and the program includes specific workouts to do at home including video tutorials and guidance, nutrition guide, accountability with me proving the trainer updates on what I’ve been doing and then biweekly 30 min calls to check in. I'm looking for something to use at home with minimal parts so I don't have to worry about washing and drying.
